Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners

These liners are great if you use your Crock Pot a lot.  Place a bag in your Crock Pot before cooking your food.

When you are finished cooking and serving your food, simply pull up the liner and throw away.

Your Crock Pot looks clean and ready for your next creation.

I give this product a thumbs up!  It saves me lots of time from cleaning up a big mess.

Zyliss Ice Cream Scoop
Are all ice cream scoops created equal?  I don't think so anymore.  I saw this zyliss ice cream scoop while I was grocery shopping and I was immediately intrigued.  I loved the bright colors it came in and its unusual shape...for an ice cream scoop.  I bought it (around $8-$10) along with some ice cream and immediately loved the ergonomically-designed handle.  It totally cut through the hard ice cream which is a huge plus.  I also found out that it doesn't contain anti-freeze agents.  If you're in the market for an ice cream scoop, give this guy a try I give it a thumbs up!

Ziploc Zip 'n Steam

Where have you been all my life?  I came across these several months ago and thought I'd give them a try.  I love eating steamed veggies but I never know exactly how long to cook them for great color and taste...usually I'm cooking several things at a time so I forget about my veggies until they are soggy and bland.  10 bags come in a package for between $2.50 and $3.00.  On the back of each bag it will indicate how long to cook each vegetable.  Let's say I'm making Sunday dinner.  I just peel a few carrots, slice them and throw them in the bag with a drizzle of honey, salt, pepper and parsley flakes.  Throw it in the microwave for 3 minutes and ta-da  done.  Thumbs up!

Penzeys Spices

Last night I made a turkey breast.  I took a thawed turkey breast, rinsed it and patted it dry with a paper towel.  Then I rubbed it liberally with olive oil.  I sprinkled tons of Penzey's Rosemary Spain Cracked seasoning all over it.  My, oh my, did my house smell amazing.  It had the most amazing flavor that penetrated the whole turkey.  It tasted like I put a lot of time into making the turkey but it was so easy.  My friend gave me a variety box of Penzeys spices (I'd never heard of them but she's from Denver so she knows about all the cool stuff).  The seasonings are so flavorful and taste much better than a lot of the seasonings you find at the grocery store.  I didn't realize there could be such a big difference.  Penzey Spices get a big thumbs up!
